Raffles City basement just had a facelift recently. There are a number of new restaurants and shops. Previously, the relatively small basement only had a supermarket, some fast food joints and small eateries. Now it houses quite a number of new restaurants, shops (e.g. Prints, Anthropology, Birkenstock, Crumpler) and a bookstore (MPH).
The basement was packed with people on a Friday evening. Guess that explained why we had problem getting a parking lot in the building and speaking of which, the system should display a "Carpark Full" sign when there's no available parking lots.
