A private dining restaurant where you pay a fixed amount per pax ($48+++ for lunch and $88+++ for dinner) and the chef will whip up a sumptuous meal from whatever ingredients he has. I understand the menu changes from week to week and is never fixed. For starters, we had green house tomatoes in sesame sauce. The tomatoes are huge, as big as a orange but are very juicy and nice (i.e. if you like tomatoes).

We went there for KS' colleague's solemnisation cum reception. The not-very-spacious but cosy restaurant houses approximately 5 tables. After the tomatoes, we had scallop somen which is a interesting combination of soba with scallop.
Next we had grilled thai pork cheek which is very tender.
The name of every dish sounds rather unusual to us but luckily before we tuck into the food, the server will provide an interesting introduction to each dish. After the pork cheek, we had salivating chicken which is called "kou shui ji" in Mandarin.
A Chinese meal is never complete without the fish. We had deep fried shrimp paste grouper - very fresh and crispy.

Followed by stir fried mushroom with pickled cucumber and Furong chicken soup.

Ended the luncheon with Xi Yan signature tang yuan in old ginger soup.
