Inagiku

Saturday, 30 September 2006

Had a $100 voucher for dining at any restaurants at Raffles The Plaza so decided to try Inagiku since I have read a number of good reviews about the restaurant.

We ordered salmon sashimi ($28 for 5 pcs), king prawn with Inagiku original golden sauce ($60), Australian sirloin steak with broccoli and two bowls of chicken fried rice ($8 each). The bill came up to $181 which is rather pricey considering the number of dishes and the portion.

Wah! $28 for 5 pcs of sashimi! day light robbery! provided fresh and hygienic i think all sashimi taste about the same! Dez and I happen to buy a big takeaway platter of sushi (very nicely decorated as well) on Sat for $33 and it had at least some very generous 16 slices of sashimi, PLUS 2 Huge egg rolls, and like 20 pieces of handmade assorted salmon, tuna and swordfish maki and sushi. What a big difference! and as u know, Dez has a huge appetite and there was leftover!

Wah can imagine the amount of sashimi and sushi and that's only $33! KS was saying that we could have a lot of zi char and seafood at that price!
