Met up with Aileen, Peishan and Kim Siah to have dinner on my birthday. Recommended by my colleague, Sabrina, P&P Thai Food is located in a coffee shop along Veerasamy Road in Little India. You don't have to fly to Thailand to have authentic Thai food, a lot of the ingredients are brought in from Thailand.
We ordered Thai Balachan Fried Rice, Seafood Tom Yum Soup, Chicken Green Curry, Fried Beef in Basil Leaf, Fried Kang Kong with Chili and Fried Stuffed Chicken Wings (the famous chicken wing which costs $8 each - it's stuffed with minced meat, water chestnuts and rice vermicelli). The food is great and affordable. All that for $50 for 4 pax! On another occasion, I went there again with KS and family and we ordered some of the same dishes plus the seafood salad, fried pork chop and scrambled eggs.
For those driving, you will be pleased to know that there is a multi-storey carpark in Blk 638 and an open-air carpark opposite the coffee shop - both are equally convenient.
